Groundwork Gives Back
Proud to have served the customers of:
Groundwork seeks to be a stakeholder in our community. We support causes that help people in the communities where we serve and we live. The company is committed to redirecting our time, energy and financial resources toward people, organizations and causes that provide vital services and support to our community.
In this way, we believe that we are helping make the place we and our customers call “home” better. Every year, the company gives a portion of our profits. We ask our team members what people, organizations, causes and campaigns are important to them or that they witness doing good and important work in our community.
Groundwork then donates the applicable portion of those profits to those people, organizations, causes and campaigns nominated by the team and those donations are made in the name (in honor of) the team member that nominates. For example, Alex Seaborn nominated St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness, so Groundwork made a donation to St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness in Alex’s name.
This giving campaign has run continuously on this basis since 2017 and Groundwork has donated thousands of dollars to dozens of people, organizations, causes and campaigns in our community nominated by our team members.
Groundwork is adding a “Day of Service” layer to our annual giving. Every member of our team receives a paid weekday away from Groundwork to donate their talent and time in service to an organization, cause or campaign in our community. This is intended to be a paid day of actual service provided by Groundwork.
While we are blessed to redirect our financial resources, we believe that the benefit of our team members’ time, talent and service will be even more impactful to our community. This “Day of Service” will equate to at least 88-hours of service work on the ground in our community.
We believe that we rise in service to others and we back that belief with resources, time and energy.
